NSF REU Student
Leah Feuerman was a visiting REU student conducting research in the WAVE lab in Summer 2016. Her research project was to design and develop a temperature insensitive fiber optics sensor for steerable catheter. She wass a physics major at Occidental College in Los Angeles with an interest in electrical engineering and medical devices. Outside of academics she is also on Leadership Council for Peer Health Exchange and a captain for her club Ultimate team. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, playing sports, and volunteering.
Recently, Leah received her Bachelor degree at Columbia University.
